On Campus: Great Achievements By College Students From Oxford

Hofstra University, Hempstead NY

• Three students from Oxford were named to the spring 2025 Dean's List for outstanding academic achievement. Students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 during the semester to make the Dean's List. Oxford honorees and their majors are Connor Grant, film studies & production; Gianna Mancini, music business; and Jenna Senatore, computer science.

University of Bridgeport, Bridgeport CT

• Amani Small and Gillian Westphal, both of Oxford, were named to the Ssring 2025 President's List. To be named to the President's List, a student must maintain a term grade point average of 3.7 or higher.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• Five students from Oxford were named to the President's List for the spring 2025 semester. They are Julia Cyr, Stella Formato, Savannah Guliuzza, Ashley Ivanko and John Napomiceno. The President's List recognizes a select group of students reaching the highest level of academic standing. To be placed on the President's List, students must maintain a GPA of at least a 3.75 and receive grades of C or better.
• Eight Oxford residents made the Dean's List for the spring 2025 semester. The requirement, with some exceptions, is a grade point average of at least 3.0 and no grade below C. Local honorees are Julia Cyr, Jenna Dos Santos, Stella Formato, Savannah Guliuzza, Ashley Ivanko, Amber Kopf, Kira Kopf and John Napomiceno.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MA

• Maya Mussel, a member of the class of 2028 majoring in environmental engineering, was named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the spring 2025 semester. The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differ from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI students are named to the Dean's List based on the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and hands-on projects.
