On Campus: Milestones Attained By College Students From Oxford

Central Connecticut State University, New Britain CT

• Kathryn Alexander, Holly Suttile and Brenna Virgalla, all of Oxford, made the Dean's List for the fall 2024 semester at CCSU.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Six students from Oxford made the fall 2024 Dean's List. They are Emma Gurecki, a sophomore who majors in business administration; Joseph Hines, a senior who majors in business information systems; Abigail Locke, a junior who majors in psychology; Allison McElfresh, a junior who majors in women's and gender studies; Samantha Montesano, a junior who majors in psychology; and Hannah Pasuth, a sophomore who majors in psychology. To qualify for Dean's List, full-time students must complete a minimum of 12 credits in letter-graded courses with an average GPA of 3.5 or higher in the semester.

Hofstra University, Hempstead NY

• Gianna Mancini of Oxford excelled during the fall 2024 semester at Hofstra, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the Dean's List. Gianna's major is music business.

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

• Kaitlyn Alagno and Meghan Dembek, both of Oxford, were named to the fall 2024 Dean's List at Roger Williams University. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

Western Connecticut State University, Danbury CT

• Five students from Oxford made the Dean's List at WCSU for the fall 2024 semester. The honorees and their majors are Hannah Alexander, music, classical instrument emphasis; Mitzi Conceicao, art; Kardeen Stiven, nursing; Emily Sura, exploratory studies; and Emily Zibelin, biology. Dean’s List recognition is awarded each semester to full-time matriculated students with satisfactory completion of a minimum of 12 graded semester hour credits and a 3.5 semester average.
