American International College, Springfield MA

• American International College (AIC) student Gavin Glass of Oxford has earned Dean's List honors for the spring 2024 semester. Glass is majoring in pre-nursing. Dean's List honors are awarded to full-time students who have achieved a 3.3 to 4.0 GPA.

Curry College, Milton MA

• Curry College congratulates Adem Kica of Oxford, who was named to the spring 2024 Dean's List.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University recently released its Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester, in which more than 1,200 students were recognized for maintaining high GPAs.
  Among the students were Oxford residents Daria Bacchiocchi, a full-time senior majoring in social work; Emma Gurecki, a full-time sophomore majoring in exploratory STEM; Joseph Hines, a full-time senior majoring in business information systems; Allison McElfresh, a full-time junior majoring in women's and gender studies; Katelyn Petrie, a full-time senior majoring in psychology; and Connor Scully, a full-time senior majoring in mathematics. To qualify for Dean's List, full-time students must complete a minimum of 12 credits in letter-graded courses with an average GPA of 3.5 or higher in the semester.

Emmanuel College, Boston MA

• Emmanuel College in Boston has named Emily Bassett of Oxford to the Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester.

Muhlenberg College, Allentown PA

• Jenny Lee of Oxford graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. - Bachelor of Arts degree in the history major and philosophy/political thought major. On Sunday, May 19, 465 members of Muhlenberg's Class of 2024, along with their families, their friends and Muhlenberg faculty and staff, gathered in Allentown's PPL Center to celebrate the College's 2024 Commencement.Lee was also named to the Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester. Muhlenberg College students and Muhlenberg College School of Continuing Studies students with a term GPA of 3.50 or higher were recognized for this academic achievement.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

• Brendan Young of Oxford graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BS in software engineering. Nearly 4,500 degrees were conferred in the 2023-2024 academic year at all of RIT's campuses. RIT's academic convocation celebration was held in May.
• Alexis Sanders and Maple Riemer, both of Oxford, were named to the Dean's List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. Full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

• Springfield College has named Olivia Lanza from Oxford to the dean's list for academic excellence for the 2024 spring semester. Lanza has a primary major of pre-prof athletic training.

University of Albany, Albany NY

• Meagan Leung and Morgan Burlison, both of Oxford, have been named to the Dean's List for spring 2024 at UAlbany. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a grade point average (GPA) of 3.25 or higher in their first semester of study and a GPA of 3.50 or higher in subsequent semesters.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• Rebecca Swanat of Oxford received the degree of Bachelor of Science from the University of Hartford's College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions. She is one of 964 students who received graduate and undergraduate degrees this spring as part of the class of 2024.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

• The University of Rhode Island celebrated more than 4,100 of its newest alumni during the University's 2024 Commencement. Nearly 4,000 undergraduate degrees and 800 graduate degrees were conveyed to students during the ceremonies, which took place May 17-19, 2024.
  Among them were Oxford residents Kendra Grillo, John Biondo, James Ward and Anastasia Duke.
• The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce the spring 2024 Dean's List. Honorees from Oxford are James Ward, Johnny Biondo, Danielle Barberio, Katherine Hlywa and Kate Dolyak. To be included on the Dean's List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average.
