Naugatuck Savings Bank in Southbury Robbed
Police say a man entered the bank and demanded money, implying that he had a weapon.
[UPDATE: 4 P.M.] State Police are continuing to investigate a robbery that occurred just before noon Wednesday at the Naugatuck Savings Bank on Main Street South in Southbury.
According to police, a male entered the bank and demanded money from a teller, implying that he had a weapon.

The man is described as a white male, about 30-years-old and six feet tall. Police are looking for a green Honda that may be associated with the robbery.
Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the man. Citizens are asked to call Troop 'A' at (203) 267-2200 with information. All calls will be kept confidential.

[UPDATE: 1:45 P.M.] The Naugatuck Savings Bank on Main Street was robbed this afternoon in Southbury.
The bank, located at 363 Main Street South in Southbury, sits some 100 yards away from the Southbury Police Department. The bank was also robbed in April 2011 by four armed gunman.
Additional information has yet to be released and police are still considering the scene “active”, as local and state police, along with the Connecticut Major Crimes Squad, investigate the incident.

Police scanners reported that a white male fled in a dark Honda from a Main Street South bank. A weapon was implied in the robbery but it was not displayed, according to the reports.
