Oxford Prepares For Annual Tree Lighting On December 5th
Town crews have been decorating the town tree ahead of next week's holiday celebration, officials say.
OXFORD, CT — Oxford Parks & Recreation crews were hard at work this past week as they began stringing lights on the town's tree in preparation for the holiday season, according to a social media update from the department.
With a bucket truck in place and staff pitching in, the tree is already taking shape and will soon have lights. Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars for the town’s annual tree lighting ceremony on Friday, December 5th.
Families, friends, and neighbors are invited to gather and help kick off the festive season together.
