In compliance with Federal and State regulations on confidentiality, the Pupil
Personnel Services Department plans to destroy special education records of
any Oxford student who withdrew or graduated and exited from the district on
or before June 30, 2018. According to law, confidential records are destroyed
six
years after the student has graduated or left Oxford Public Schools. The records
of these students will be destroyed on or about July 31, 2024.
Anyone interested in receiving their special education records or those of their
child should make the request in writing to the Assistant Superintendent of
Student and Staff Support, Oxford Public Schools, 50 Great Oak Road, Suite
50A, Oxford, CT 06478
