We asked Patch Readers what they thought the biggest safety issues were in their town. Here’s a list of the most pressing problems, from break-ins to traffic jams:
- "Our first Selectmen!"
- "Some school bus drivers."
- "The roads are terrible, the piece of telephone pole hanging incorrectly off another pole on Tram Dr. waiting to fall, the mangled wires coming down captain Wooster, traffic by the high school....where do I stop?"
- "Through traffic."
- "Gotta say, I feel pretty safe here at all times and hours."
- "Inadequate police staffing"
- "Animals cutting across the road"
- "The intersection of Bowers Hill and Good Hill. It was improved, but when taking a left onto good hill it is still dangerous. It should be a 3-way stop."
- "Roads are awful. All that is going on at Woodruff Hill and effecting the swamplands around the Bridle Trail."
- "That people fly through stop signs at high rates of speed."
