OXFORD, CT — Police are advising residents to lock their homes, garages, sheds and vehicles after a complaint was received about power equipment being stolen from a shed on Perry Lane.

The theft was reported Friday, and a neighbor told police a gray or silver Toyota Prius had been seen in the victim's driveway Thursday morning.

Police also recommend installing cameras. Anyone noticing anything suspicious is asked to call the Oxford Police Department at 203-888-4353.
