The Seventh Annual Oxford Freedom Run on Memorial Day

There will be a kids rockhopper fun run, a 5K freedom run and a 2 mile fitness walk.

The seventh annual Oxford Freedom Run will take place on Memorial Day, May 25.

There will be a kids rockhopper fun run beginning at 8 a.m., as well as a 5K Freedom Run on a 5K USATF Certified Course and a 2 mile fitness walk beginning at 8:15 a.m.

Registration for any of the activities costs $25 for adults and $10 for kids. Military and veterans run/walk for free.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Wounded Warrior Project, American Warrior and Oxford American Legion.

Online registration is available now, here. Race-Day registration will be from 6:45 to 7:45 a.m. T-Shirts will be awarded to the first 300 registered participants.

Early race packet pickup will begin on Saturday, May 23 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Oxford Town Library.

Wheelchairs and baby strollers are welcome.
