St. Thomas The Apostle Church Hosts 'New Life' Program

The program will aim to be a support system and 'safe place' for people who are in the early stages of separation and divorce.

From St. Thomas the Apostle Church: If you are recently divorced or separated you may need to give yourself some time to work through your loss and pain. St. Thomas the Apostle Church is offering a program called “New Life.” It is a ten week program designed for persons in the early stages of separation or divorce.

The program offers a “safe place” for people to gain a perspective on their loss. Some of the topics that will be addressed in the program are: self image, stress, anger, blame and guilt, loneliness, and how to move toward growth. The program consists of one meeting each week from 7:00 to 8:30 pm for ten weeks, plus exercises to be practiced between the sessions.

If you are interested in attending the first session, it will take place on Monday, March 6th from 7:00-8:30 pm and on Mondays for the next nine weeks at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Annex 8, 8 Perry Lane, Oxford. The program is free. Please call Maryjane Calladio at 203-888-2382 ext 121 to register. Registration is necessary to ensure that materials are available for all attendees.
