Threat Directed At Oxford High School; Suspect Confesses: State Police
The school was briefly closed Monday morning as the FBI and state police conducted an investigation.

OXFORD, CT — A threat directed toward Oxford High School early Monday morning prompted a temporary closure as local and federal officials conducted an investigation.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation notified Connecticut State Police at Troop A in the early morning hours. Proper notifications were immediately made and the school was closed to the public and school activities out of an abundance of caution, state police said.
During the investigation, a suspect was interviewed and admitted to making the threat. There was no information released by state police about the suspect or any pending charges.
