Armed Robbery At Gas Station In Rocky Hill: Police

The two males fled in a stolen SUV, according to police.

ROCKY HILL, CT — Two males robbed a Rocky Hill gas station overnight at gunpoint, according to police.

Law enforcement responded Saturday shortly before midnight to a report of an armed robbery at Cumberland Farms in the 700 block of Cromwell Avenue, police said.

The males were wearing masks and gloves and brandishing firearms, according to police, who said the robbers ordered the clerk to open one register and remove cash and stole a second register. The clerk complied and was not hurt, police said.

The males fled on West Street toward Interstate 91 in a stolen white Toyota RAV4 with the Connecticut registration 6AGAD1, according to police.

Authorities are working with other jurisdictions that had similar robberies overnight, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 860-258-7640 and reference case number 24-3108.
