Big Powerball Prize Sold In Rocky Hill

ROCKY HILL, CT — A winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was recently sold in Rocky Hill, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

A Deep River resident bought the winning ticket at Mylz Energy at 1761 Silas Deane Highway in Rocky Hill, according to lottery officials.

A Rocky Hill resident also recently won $10,000 on a Holiday Cash 20X scratch ticket that was sold at Big Y Ellington Express at 140 West Road in Ellington.

The CT Lottery no longer publishes winners’ names without their written consent in accordance with a new Connecticut law, which was effective Oct.1, 2025.
