Rocky Hill 2023 Election Voter Guide: Polls Open At 6 a.m. Tuesday

ROCKY HILL, CT — On Nov. 7, Rocky Hill residents cast their votes for several key municipal positions. Contested races include: mayor, town council, school board, and various land use boards and commissions.

Polls in Connecticut are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. You can use the Secretary of State’s website to find your polling place. Voters who are in line by 8 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

Connecticut also allows for Election Day registration at designated centers in each town. People must be registered by 8 p.m. in order to vote using Election Day registration.

Mayor

The Democratic candidate is Ken Goldberg and the Republican candidate is Lisa Marotta.

Town Council

For town council, you'll vote for up to five people. Democratic candidates are: George Rostkowski, Bill O'Sullivan, Allan Smith, Miriam Lifshitz-Theroux, and John Emmanuel. Republican candidates are: David Sevigny, Francis J. Whelan III, Allan Greenspan, Pankaj Prakash, and Jeffrey Levine.

Board of Education

For school board, you'll vote for up to five people. Democratic candidates are: Jessica Loffredo, Jennifer Baron-Morfea, Maria Mennella, Tom Cosker, and Nancy Rolfe. Republican candidates include: Sean W. Gavin, Steven R. Slattery, Amber Tucker, Jay Chhabra, and Brian Clemens.

Board of Assessment Appeals

For the board of assessment appeals, you'll vote for up to two people. Democratic candidates are Kathy Alexander and Zach Van Luling, and Republican candidates include Guy Drapeau and Marti Stiglich.

Zoning Board of Appeals

For the zoning board of appeals, you'll vote for up to three people. Democratic candidates are Joseph Coelho, Richard Pawlich-Pagliccio, and Elaine Motta. Republican candidates include: Michelle Zak, Jon Beaty, and John G. Roderick.

Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate

Democratic candidates are Mukesh Desai and Joe Hamann and Republican candidates are Bryan Addy and Dilip Desai. You'll vote for up to two people.
