Shooter Strikes Vase In Neighboring Home During Target Practice: Police
A bullet eventually determined to have come from a person conducting target practice penetrated the wall of a Rocky Hill home, police said.
ROCKY HILL, CT — A person shot a bullet through the wall of a home, striking a vase, while conducting target practice Sunday in Rocky Hill, according to police.
Officers responded around 1 p.m. to New Britain Avenue at Cobey Road for a report of a bullet of unknown origin penetrating a wall and hitting a vase on the first floor, police said.
The bullet was determined to have come from a property on outer France Street, several thousand feet away, where a person was practicing target shooting with a firearm, according to police, who said no injuries were reported and there is no threat to the public.
