Students From Rocky Hill Named National Merit Semifinalists
Two students from Rocky Hill have been named as National Merit Scholarship semifinalists.
ROCKY HILL, CT — Officials from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) have announced the names of approximately 16,000 semifinalists in the 67th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Included are two students from Rocky Hill.
These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $30 million that will be offered next spring.
The semifinalists from Rocky Hill are Melanie Ballard and Shoubnit Ravi, who both attend Rocky Hill High School.
