He highlights affordability, energy costs, public safety, and preserving local control as key priorities, drawing on his years of service on Southbury’s Board of Selectmen and other local boards.
   

• Connecticut State Police Trooper Resigns After Arrest for Lying About Hit-and-Run Crash (officer.com) — A Connecticut State Police trooper has resigned after being charged with falsely reporting that she was hit by another vehicle, when investigators say she actually struck a pole in Southbury while distracted. Authorities allege she then drove to Danbury and reported a hit-and-run, leading to multiple charges and an upcoming court appearance in Waterbury.
