Rep. Jason Buchsbaum says he will seek reelection in Connecticut's 69th District after qualifying for public campaign funds.

SOUTHBURY, CT — Jason Buchsbaum announced he is seeking reelection to represent Connecticut’s 69th House District, a seat he first won in November 2024.
The district includes Bridgewater, a portion of New Milford, Roxbury and most of Southbury. Buchsbaum, a Republican and Southbury resident, said he plans to continue focusing on affordability and cost-of-living issues during the next legislative term.
In a statement, Buchsbaum said his priorities include addressing energy costs, supporting public safety and emergency services, opposing unfunded state mandates and limiting what he described as excessive legislative overreach, while preserving local control for municipalities.
