Major Portion Of New Southington Public Library Now Complete
One of the last major components of the library project officially finished Thursday and it was open to the public.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Late last year, the Southington Public Library opened a new, multi-million-dollar building.
And on Thursday, the library opened a new parking lot there to make going there a bit easier.
That's because the North Parking lot (accessible off Meriden Avenue) is finished and open.

"Be aware construction continues—please drive safely, obey traffic directions and signs, and watch for changing traffic patterns," wrote the library in an announcement.
Also, the drive-up book drops in the driveway at the rear of the library are again open for use, according to library officials
