In Memoriam: Joseph N. Sirois

Joseph N. Sirois, 84, of Southington, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 at the Apple Rehab in Plainville.

He was the husband of Bernadette (Levesque) Sirois.

He was born on Aug. 13, 1931in New Canada, ME, the son of the late Maxime and Marianne (Frazer) Sirois.

He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. Prior to his retirement he was employed by CT Spring and Stamping in Farmington.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Louise Hutchinson of Plantsville, Michael Sirois of Southington, Denise Sirois of Plainville and Ken Sirois of CA, 2 grandchildren Kristen Sirois and Justin Sirois ,a brother Raoul Sirois of Southington, sisters Gilberte, Lorette, Yvette, Jeanne, Rolande, Aline and Therese.

He was predeceased by brothers Fernand, Roland and Louis Sirois.

Joe was an avid bowler, loved fixing cars and enjoyed watching golf on TV.

The family would like to thank the staff at Apple Rehab for their loving care and concern of their father.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 7 pm. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5-7 pm at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
