The Southington resident passed away Jan. 2 at the age of 59.

Susan Cecere Palazzo, 59, of Southington, passed away, unexpectedly at home on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016.
She was born in Bonea, Italy the daughter of the late Felice and Grazia (Cesare) Cecere Palazzo.

She was employed by Filomeno’s in West Hartford.
Susan is survived by a brother Joseph Palazzo of Southington and a sister Domenica Palazzo- Rivers and her husband Thomas of Barkhamsted, a niece Samantha Tinyszin and a nephew Victor P. Tinyszin as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Domenic Palazzo.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to the Immaculate Conception Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5- to 8 p.m.
