Middle School Updates, Summer Playlist and True Love

Good morning from Southington Patch! Today is Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013.

1. School starts tomorrow, but before students return to DePaolo and Kennedy, they will have a chance to take a look at the changes and become familiar with how everything will look. The schools are open today from 3 - 6 p.m. for walk through opportunities.

3. The summer is nearing the end, but there's still some music left on the playlist. Music on the Green continues tonight with the "Heartbeat Dixieland Jazz Band." Event starts at 7 p.m. downtown.

4. The Self Insurance Committee meets this afternoon at 4 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Southington Town Hall.
