Rep. Sampson Achieves 100 Percent Voting Record

According to data released from the House Clerk’s office, State Rep. Rob Sampson (R-80, Southington) has once again earned a one hundred percent voting record for all roll call votes taken on the floor of the State House of Representatives during the 2013 Regular Session

In doing so, also demonstrated and independent voting record, standing apart from his party on several key issues.  The House Clerk’s Office released the data on members’ votes this week.

“The people of the 80th District have always been my number one priority, and I am proud to have cast 100 percent of votes taken in the House this year, and more importantly, to have served as an independent voice on issues of great consequence to our district, putting partisan politics aside,” Sampson said.

Sampson also broke ranks with fellow Republicans 14 percent of the time, according to statistics.

Sampson noted that while the media often focuses on partisanship in Hartford, his fellow Republicans voted with the majority party 80 percent of the time.
