Southington FIRST Robotics Team Honored at Conn. Championship

The Southington High School students won the Connecticut Choice Award at the competition this weekend.

The Southington High School FIRST Robotics team earned a pat on the back from its peers at the Connecticut State Championship this weekend!

According to an announcement posted on Patch, the team was honored with the Connecticut Choice Award.

The Connecticut Choice Award recognizes a team that "spreads the FIRST message, creates impact in the FIRST community, achieves excellence in execution and demonstrates gracious professionalism."

The Southington High School students were also semifinalists in the competition, which was sponsored by the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference.
