Southington Pedestrian Critically Injured When Struck by Car
A car struck the 33-year-old victim on Queen Street late Saturday.

A 33-year-old pedestrian was critically injured when he was struck by a BMW while crossing Queen Street in Southington about 9 o’clock Saturday night, police said.
The accident happened near the McDonald’s restaurant at 675 Queen St. and prompted the temporary closure of the road.
Police told The Courant, Justin R. Spielvogel was walking from the nearby Exxon Mobil gas station, when he was struck by a BMW operated by an unidentified 16-year-old male.
