Southington Police Blotter: Narcotics Charges, Burglaries and More

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Drug arrests and burglary cases kept police busy late last week and over the weekend as officers made several arrests. A crackdown on those driving unregistered also netted 17 citations. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:

June 6


David Kirychuk, 27, of 19 Whitlock Ave. in Plantsville, was charged with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree larceny, June 6.

June 10


Casie L. Sullivan, 22, of 12 Liberty St. in Southington, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating a motor vehicle under suspension, June 10.

June 13


Erin Bresnahan, 41, of 542 S. Farms Terrace in Southington, was charged with two counts of sale of narcotics, June 13.

Robert Drouin, 21, of 110 Rethal St. in Southington, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, June 13.

June 14


Ryan Dixon, 18, of 229 Sun Valley Drive in Southington, was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace, fourth-degree criminal mischief and interfering with an officer, June 14.

June 15


Licia A. Jamele, 51, of 151 Sills Ave. in Prospect, was charged with driving under the influence, June 15.

June 16


Ryan Ohala, 27, of 98 Eden Ave. in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct, June 16.

Jose L. Barbosa, 44, of 112 Bristol St. in Southington, was charged with operating a motor vehicle without a license and evading responsibility in an accident, June 16.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Seventeen (17) people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • Five people were cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
  • Three people were cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
  • Two people were cited with using a cell phone while driving.
  • One person was cited with failure to insure motor vehicle.
  • One person was cited with failure to wear a seatbelt.
  • One person was cited with violation of a stop sign/traffic signal.
  • One person was cited with littering.
