Southington Police Blotter: Theft and DUI

In a lighter log for police, officer reported just two arrests on Tuesday, one for larceny and a second for DUI. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.
The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:
June 12
Michael Mastrianni, 23, of 63 Merrell Ave. in Southington, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and third-degree trespassing, June 12.
June 16
Brian Sievel, 26, of 37 Twining Farm Road in Torrington, was charged with failure to drive in proper lane and driving under the influence, June 16.
Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:
- Two people were cited with using a cell phone while driving.
- One person was cited with following too close.
- One person was cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
- One person was cited with failure to carry insurance card.
