Southington Police Blotter: Woman Charged With Cultivating Marijuana
The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike resident is facing charges after police said she was cultivating marijuana at her home. That was one of several arrests - and citations - in the latest arrest logs.
The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:
May 29
Jorgina Carpenter, 50, of 47 Cleveland Ave. in Bridgeport, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, May 29.
May 30
Heidi Vesentin, 54, of 1581 Meriden-Waterbury Road in Southington, was charged with cultivation of marijuana and failure to submit fingerprints, May 30.
Joseph E. Testa, 20, of 59 Howard Ave. in Southington, was charged with third-degree larceny, operating a motor vehicle under suspension, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating an ATV on a highway, May 30.
Wieslawa Kurkowsk, 55, of Mulberry St. in Southington, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, May 30.
Tobias J. Hussey, 31, of 33 Wilson St. in Plainville, was charged with driving under the influence and operating a motor vehicle under suspension, May 30.
Franco A. Pabst, 19, of 6 Yorktown Road in Southington, was charged with evading responsibility in an accident, failure to drive to the right and failure to maintain proper lane, May 30.
Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:
- Nine people were cited with seatbelt violation.
- Three people were cited with possession of less than a quarter ounce of marijuana.
- Two people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
- One person was cited with failure to renew registration.
- One person was cited with using a cell phone while driving.
- One person was cited with failure to maintain proper lane.
