It can seep into the foundation and accumulate in your home.

It can kill you ... and you probably don't even know it.

Two forums in Southington will take place this month:

• Wednesday, Jan.14, at 6 p.m.; Southington Municipal Center, Public Assembly Room

• Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 6 p.m.; Southington Municipal Center, Public Assembly Room

The Southington Municipal Center is located at 200 N. Main St., Southington.

Those who attend will receive free test kits to determine if radon is an issue in their home. If it is, then a new ventilation system might be the best way to solve the problem.
