Will Southington's Town Manager Be on the Move?

Will Southington Town Manager Garry Brumback be leaving the post he’s held for five years?

Brumback, who’s been town manager since Jan. 31, 2011, reportedly is a finalist for the city manager post in Fort Myers, FL.

The 59-year-old Brumback told The Hartford Courant that he applied for the post because he wants to be closer to his 83-year-old father, who lives on Florida’s west coast. Brumback’s mother died in 2014.

Brumback is one of six finalists selected from 69 applicants, according to The Courant report that can be found here.
