A 16-year-old male was arrested on multiple charges after an officer pulled him over for speeding Monday night.
According to South Windsor Police, the teen was spotted driving at a high rate of speed on Hilton Drive at around midnight on May 12. When Sgt. Michael Dobler pulled him over, the teen reportedly admitted to stealing the car from the Pine Tree Lane and Benedict Drive area.
The teen, whose identity was not released, told Dobler that he had been burglarizing unlocked cars and found a vehicle with the keys in it, so he took it, the police report states.
