Arraignments, Lost Bikes and Pet Adoptions

Five things to help you get organized for Friday, Aug. 2, 2013.

Mornin'! Today is Friday, Aug. 2, 2013. Here are five things on tap in and around South Windsor for the day:

1. Police recovered a bike and a backpack behind a condo on Twin Circle Drive and are searching for the owner.

2. Sara Ballard, the South Windsor teen who was the driver of a vehicle that lost control and killed two passengers over the Memorial Day weekend, saw her case continued in Manchester Superior Court on Thursday. Ballard is charged with, among other things, two counts of manslaughter in the second degree with a motor vehicle.

3. Want your kids to brush up on the full SAT and ACT tests for free this summer? Then this event in Tolland is for you!

4. Are you signed up for South Windsor Patch's breaking news alerts yet
