Rep. Delnicki Sworn In, Prepares For First Term As State Rep

Delnicki states that he is committed to reducing the expense of government and frivolous spending of hard-earned taxpayer dollars.

From CT General Assembly: State Rep. Tom Delnicki (R-14) was sworn in on Wednesday, January 4, to represent the 14th General Assembly District, which encompasses the town of South Windsor.

Rep. Delnicki took the oath of office and was sworn in by Secretary of State Denise Merrill in the State House Chamber. He then participated in a Joint Convention of both the House of Representatives and Senate as Gov. Dannel Malloy addressed lawmakers about the 2017 Session.

Delnicki states that he is committed to reducing the expense of government and frivolous spending of hard-earned taxpayer dollars.

“I am thrilled to represent the people of South Windsor and be their voice in Hartford. I intend to work with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle so that Connecticut is once again a prosperous place to live and do business in,” said Delnicki.

“I work for everyone – Democrat, Republican, Independent,” Delnicki added.

House Republican Leader Themis Klarides appointed Delnicki to serve on the Planning and Development Committee, Banks Committee and the Insurance Committee for the 2017 legislative session.

Delnicki, a lifelong resident of South Windsor is humbled by the opportunity to serve his constituents and represent this community in Hartford.
