The South Windsor American 11-12 All-Star team opened Section II play with a 13-3, 5-inning victory over SFC on Wednesday in Harwinton.
Zach Donahue led the offense with a home run and a double, while Anthony Conaci, Jay Fournier, and Matt Dion contributed with two hits each.
Jack McCluskey had a 3-run triple in the second inning to break the game open.
Starting pitcher David Hansen earned the win, while Isaac Bates also pitched well for South Windsor.
South Windsor American, the District 8 champion, plays District 6 winner Burlington on Thursday.
