South Windsor American Still Has Hot Hand in Victory Over Burlington
American musters just two hits, but it's enough to defeat the District 6 champions.
District 8 champions South Windsor American 11-12 All-Stars continued their hot streak in the heat, edging District 6 winners Burlington 2-1 in Section II pool play on Thursday.
After defeating SFC 13-3 in five innings, the offense scratched out two hits against Burlington.
South Windsor’s Zach Donahue reached base twice and scored both runs, while Robert Williams and Matt Chambers had American’s only hits.
