South Windsor Dairy Queen Grill & Chill to Host Fire and Police Safety Event
Event to take place Thursday.
The South Windsor Police will have a car seat installation demonstration at the Dairy Queen Grill & Chill on Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon. The South Windsor Volunteer Fire Department will also be there to promote fire safety.
“With people traveling more during the summer, it’s an opportunity to ensure their seats are installed safely,” said police spokesman Sgt. Scott Custer. “And who doesn’t love ice cream?”
