The Gness family's home on Sally Drive was destroyed by fire Dec. 18 - just a day after Heather's mother passed away - leaving the couple and their infant daughter homeless. One of their dogs perished in the fire while another, Bree, suffered serious injuries and is being treated at an animal hospital in Bolton.
The family is currently staying at a local hotel.
