South Windsor Police Charge Man for Allegedly Stealing Vehicle
The 44-year-old Enfield man is facing charges for an incident that took place at Veteran's Memorial Park.

A 44-year-old Enfield man is facing charges after allegedly stealing a car from the parking area at Veteran’s Memorial Park in South Windsor.
On Wednesday, South Windsor Police responded to Manchester Superior Court to serve an arrest warrant on man being held there on other charges.
Investigators arrested Thomas Burke, 44, of 59 North Maple St., and charged him with second-degree larceny. He was held on $5,000 surety bond.

Burke’s charge stems from an incident in August 2013 in which Burke stole a car from the parking area at Veteran’s Memorial Park. The vehicle was later recovered in Springfield.
Burke was identified from surveillance photos and an arrest warrant was obtained.

He reportedly fled Connecticut for a time but was later located and arrested by another agency.
