South Windsor Police: Man Shoplifted Energy Drinks, Oral Hygiene Products

Nathaniel Walker, 35, of Windsor, is charged with two counts of larceny in the sixth degree.

A Windsor man is facing larceny charges after he allegedly shoplifted energy drinks, a frozen pizza and oral hygiene products from a local Target store on two separate occasions, according to South Windsor police.

Nathaniel Walker, 35, of 15 Dorchester Drive, Windsor, was charged by South Windsor police on Monday with two counts of larceny in the sixth degree after he allegedly shoplifted 12-pack packages of Red Bull, a frozen pizza, a package of Crest White Strips and toothbrush heads last winter, police spokesperson Sgt. Scott Custer said in a telephone interview.

In January, Walker entered the Target in South Windsor and took four 12-packs of Red Bull and a package of Crest White Strips to the store register, Custer said. Walker paid for two 12-packs of Red Bull using a gift card and told the cashier that he had already paid for the other items, which totaled $217, Custer said.

A month later, Walker went back to the Target and brought four more 12-packs of Red Bull, a frozen pizza and a package of toothbrush heads to the store register, Custer said. Walker again paid for two of the 12-packs and told the cashier that he had already paid for the other items, which totalled $57, Custer said.
