The proposed Plan and companion Implementation Element are available for review at the

Planning Department (Town Hall), at the South Windsor Public Library, and on the Town’s website (see www.southwindsor.org/pocd_draft).  Pursuant to State Statutes, the proposed Plan also has been forwarded to the Town Council and Capitol Region Council of Governments for review.

Residents and other interested persons provided input on the initial draft of the Plan in June. The Commission updated the Plan to incorporate many of the comments received.  A document titled “POCD Response to Public Comments” on the web site summarizes how the Commission addressed those public comments.

The Plan was prepared with the assistance of Planimetrics, an Avon-based land use planning and consulting firm that assists towns with preparation of Plans of Conservation and Development.
