Senator Gary LeBeau listens as Kenneth Messier, Chief Operating Officer of Ti-Trikes in South Windsor, explains the construction of one of their highend recumbent bicycles. Ti-Trikes was the first small business in Connecticut to successfully complete a Small Business Express Program business loan application, and it received state loans and grants to hire employees, buy machinery and purchase materials. The six-person firm makes bicycles used by the disabled, injured war veterans and cycle enthusiasts across America. (August 1, 2013)
