Two People Injured in South Windsor Accident
Accident took place on Route 5 north near Ellington Road

South Windsor emergency personnel responded to a three-vehicle accident on Route 5 north close to Ellington Road Saturday afternoon.
Two cars and a box truck were involved in the accident, which took place around 4 p.m., according to Fire Chief Kevin Cooney.
Two people sustained injuries that were not life-threatening and were transported to an area hospital, Cooney said.

About 10 firefighters responded to the accident, in addition to South Windsor police, members of the South Windsor Ambulance Corps and the Ambulance Service of Manchester.
