Driver Swerves to Avoid Opossum; Crashes Into Trees in Haddam
The Haddam accident occurred on March 5, on the 82 Connector in Haddam.
The Haddam Volunteer Fire Company and Chester Hose Company responded to a car accident on Saturday, March 5, on the 82 Connector in Haddam.
"A driver heading west towards Route 9 swerved to avoid striking an opossum, drove off the road and crashed into several small trees," the fire company said via Facebook. "The driver was taken to Middlesex Hospital via Haddam Volunteer Ambulance Service with what appeared to be minor injuries."
