19-Year-Old Seriously Injured In Crash In Old Lyme: State Police
The car ended up crashing into a parked car and ended up rolling over, state police said.

OLD LYME, CT — A 19-year-old Westbrook man was flown via Life Star helicopter to Hartford Hospital after he sustained serious injuries in a car crash, state police said.
Just before 1 a.m. Saturday, the 19-year-old was driving a 2007 Chevy Impala northbound on Route 1 in the area of 52 Boston Post Road in Old Lyme, state police said.
A vehicle was parked and was unoccupied in the driveway of 50 Boston Post Road.

As the Impala approached 52 Boston Post Road, the driver for "unknown reasons lost control" of the vehicle and veered toward the left shoulder of the roadway, state police said.
The Impala drove into the front yard of 50 Boston Post Road and collided with the parked car, continuing forward into an embankment, rolling over and came to a final rest at 52 Boston Post Road, state police said.

Emergency crews responded and the Westbrook resident was flown to the hospital after sustaining serious injuries. The crash is under investigation and anyone with information is urged to call state police at 860-399-2100.
