Art Talks by Howard Park & Felicia Feldman at the Lyme Art Association

Throughout the year, Lyme Art Association offers a variety of art talks presented by an excellent caliber of artists and art historians. This February, LAA is proud to announce Sailing the Globe with Howard Park on the 11th at 2pm and Fill the Soul with Art with Felicia Feldman on the 22nd from 12 – 1pm.

Sailing the Globe: Join us on Sunday, February 11th at 2pm at the Lyme Art Association for an adventure in sailing and art with Howard Park! Artists and sailors alike will enjoy this wonderful presentation by Howard Park, a sailor and an Elected Artist at the Lyme Art Association. Through paintings, photos and stories, Howard recreates for visitors his 31,000-mile trip around the world in his lovingly restored sailboat, COMET, a 1946 Sparkman & Stephens 52’ yawl. Come join us for some pre-game fun before the Super Bowl! Refreshments provided. This event is offered at no charge in partnership with the Niantic Bay Sailing Academy.

Fill your soul with art by joining us on Thursday, February 22nd from 12 – 1pm at the Lyme Art Association for an art talk with Felicia Feldman. Through a pictorial presentation Felicia will share her art process, materials and techniques for creating her works, including her breathtaking pet portraits. Attendees are welcome to ask questions during the art talk.
