Bye, Bye, Buoys!

After the second successful year, Sue Kumro and her crew from Niantic Main Street will be taking down the buoy trees this Thursday morning, Jan. 9, 2025.

The public can pick up their buoys at the Old Police Station on Main Street on Friday, Jan. 10th from 2-6 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 11 from 10-2p.m.

After that, they can be picked up at the Mermaid Liquors, 159 Main Street, Niantic, during regular store hours.

The owners of the buoys can then take them home to cherish and display at their homes or businesses.

Buoys by the Bay, in cooperation with Niantic Main Street and the East Lyme Public Trust Foundation, has been a successful fund raiser which will help finance the many projects of these organizations. Look for new additions in 2025.
