Officials said I-95 South was closed from Exits 71 and 70 in Old Lyme due to a crash and police investigation. It has reopened, according to the state Department of Transportation. NBC Connecticut reports a vehicle <a href="https://www.nbcconnecticut.com/news/local/i-95-south-closed-in-old-lyme-after-driver-who-hit-cruiser-fled-police/3531775/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">struck a state police cruiser</a> on I-395 in Waterford and was stopped on I-95 in Old Lyme with the use of stop sticks.
