Crash, Police Investigation Close Part of I-95 In Old Lyme

OLD LYME, CT — A crash closed a portion of I-95 South in Old Lyme on Monday morning, according to officials.

Officials said I-95 South was closed from Exits 71 and 70 in Old Lyme due to a crash and police investigation. It has reopened, according to the state Department of Transportation.

NBC Connecticut reports a vehicle struck a state police cruiser on I-395 in Waterford and was stopped on I-95 in Old Lyme with the use of stop sticks.
