East Lyme Announces Parade Road Closures

EAST LYME, CT — On Monday May, 27th, 2024 beginning at approximately 2 pm, the Town of East Lyme will be hosting its annual Memorial Day Parade. Main Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from 1:30 pm until approximately 3 pm. The parade route will begin at Columbus Avenue and conclude at the East Lyme Town Hall on Pennsylvania Avenue. Once the parade begins at 2 pm, Pennsylvania Avenue from the town hall to the intersection of Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic.

There will be no on-street parking in the following areas: Main Street between Columbus Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue, Columbus Avenue, and Haigh Avenue from 12 pm until the conclusion of the parade.

The East Lyme Police Department will be directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic around the parade route. Please expect delays and seek alternate routes during this time.

This year's parade is anticipated to include a flyover with a C-130 from the 103rd Airlift Wing, Flying Yankees.
