EAST LYME, CT — Road closures associated with Monday's Memorial Day Parade have been announced. Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from about 1:30 to 3 p.m., according to a police statement.The parade route will begin at Columbus Avenue and conclude at the East Lyme Town Hall on Pennsylvania Avenue. Pennsylvania Avenue from Town Hall to the intersection of Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic once the parade begins at 2 p.m. There will be no on-street parking in the following areas: Main Street between Columbus Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue; Columbus Avenue and Haigh Avenue from noon until the conclusion of the parade. The East Lyme Police Department will be directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic around the parade route. Please expect delays and seek alternate routes during this time.
