East Lyme Regional Theater Has New Home At Former Niantic Cinema Site
The former Niantic Cinema will become the new home of a local theater company, which lease four of the five auditoriums.
EAST LYME, CT — The former Niantic Cinema will become the new home of East Lyme Regional Theater. The organization's new location will be called the Niantic Bay Playhouse, according to a Facebook post from the organization.
The East Lyme Regional Theater will lease four of the five auditoriums in the Niantic Cinema building on Main Street, according to The New London Day.
East Lyme Regional Theater has been operating since 2010 and has used East Lyme High School as its performance venue. This weekend the theater will hold auditions for the production of "Annie, Jr."
